What our international guests value
Two state-registered qualifications, one practitioner
French training is rigorous: five years to qualify as a physiotherapist (kinésithérapeute), five additional years to qualify as an osteopath (ostéopathe). Most French practitioners hold one. Mathieu Zelechowski holds both — and uses them together within a single integrated treatment.
If you are accustomed to seeing a chiropractor at home, you will find that French osteopathy addresses many of the same concerns — spine, joints, soft tissue — within a strict state-registered framework recognized by international insurers.
If you usually see a physical therapist (US) or physiotherapist (UK), you will find that French kinésithérapie shares the same training depth and scope of practice.
Truly bilingual
Native-level English in every consultation. Your symptoms, your concerns, your medical history — described and understood with the precision you expect. I speak also french which is my native language.
Private and discreet
No public waiting room. No online disclosure of visits. Treatment delivered to your chalet, hotel suite or villa across Courchevel and Les Trois Vallées.

A note on French regulation
In France, the title of "chiropractor" is reserved and regulated separately from osteopathy. We are not chiropractors — we are a dual-qualified state-registered physiotherapist and osteopath. The scope of manual care, however, will feel familiar to anyone accustomed to chiropractic, osteopathic or physical-therapy treatment abroad.
What our international guests say
4.9 out of 5 on Google — independent reviews from guests across the UK, USA, Middle East, Brazil and beyond.
Frequently asked questions
Do you speak fluent English?
Yes. Every consultation is conducted in native-level English. Mathieu Zelechowski has been treating international guests in Courchevel since 2003 and is fully comfortable discussing medical history, treatment plans and recovery in English. French is a native language.
I usually see a chiropractor — is French osteopathy similar?
Yes, in scope. In France, the title of chiropractor is reserved and regulated separately. French osteopaths complete five years of state-regulated training and are authorised to perform spine and joint manipulation, soft tissue work and postural assessment — covering the same scope of manual care that a chiropractor would deliver abroad. You will find the experience familiar.
Will my international health insurance reimburse the treatment?
Yes, in most cases. The service is compatible with major international insurers — Cigna Global, Allianz Care, AXA Global, Bupa, Vitality and GeoBlue. Invoices include the full French practitioner details (RPPS 10005513642) and CPAM-compatible codes where applicable, accepted by most UK, US, EU and non-EU travel insurance policies for physiotherapy and osteopathy reimbursement abroad.
[H3] How quickly can you come to my chalet or hotel?
Same-day appointments are usually available during the ski season (December to late April). Inquiries by phone or WhatsApp are answered within one hour during office hours. For peak weeks (Christmas, February school holidays), booking 24 to 48 hours ahead is recommended.
Where exactly do you cover?
Mobile home visits are delivered across Courchevel 1850, 1650 Moriond, 1550 Le Village, Le Praz (1300), La Tania, Saint-Bon-Tarentaise, and on request Méribel, Méribel-Mottaret and other locations in Les Trois Vallées. A 4×4 vehicle ensures treatment proceeds in any weather.
Do you treat children and infants?
Yes. Respiratory physiotherapy for infants with bronchiolitis is a recognised specialty of the practice. Visits include evening and night-time emergencies when clinically warranted — particularly when altitude or cold air triggers respiratory issues for young children at the chalet.
What payment methods do you accept?
Card, cash, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer, and cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum). A detailed invoice is emailed for insurance reimbursement, in English on request.
[H3] Is your service available outside the winter ski season?
The practice operates fully during the winter season (December to late April). Outside this window, treatments are by appointment for ongoing clients and partner properties.
