Three reasons our guests choose us
Dual-qualified — physio and osteopath
Mathieu Zelechowski is a French state-registered physiotherapist (Diplôme d'État, École d'Assas, Paris, 1998) and a French state-registered osteopath (Collège Ostéopathique Sutherland, Paris, 2004 — European School of Osteopathy, Maidstone, UK).
Ten years of combined medical studies. Twenty years of practice in Courchevel and Les Trois Vallées.
Physiotherapy and osteopathy work together within a single integrated session — manual osteopathic release where the body needs it, then targeted physiotherapy for strength and recovery. You don't choose between treatments. You receive both, from one trusted hand.

Frequently asked questions
Do you accept English-speaking guests in Courchevel?
Yes. Every consultation is conducted in fluent English. Mathieu Zelechowski speaks both English and French at a professional level, and has been treating international guests in Courchevel since 2003. There is no language barrier in describing your symptoms, your medical history, or any specific care preferences.
How quickly can a physiotherapist come to my chalet or hotel?
During the ski season (December to late April), same-day appointments are usually available in Courchevel. Inquiries by phone or WhatsApp are answered within one hour. For peak weeks such as Christmas and February school holidays, booking 24 to 48 hours ahead is recommended.
What is the difference between a French osteopath and a chiropractor?
In France, the title of "chiropractor" is reserved and regulated separately. French osteopaths complete five years of state-regulated training and are authorised to perform spine and joint manipulation, soft tissue work, and postural assessment — covering the same scope of manual care that a chiropractor would typically deliver abroad. If you are accustomed to seeing a chiropractor at home, French osteopathy will feel familiar.
Are your services covered by international health insurance?
Yes. The service is compatible with major international insurers including Cigna Global, Allianz Care, AXA Global, Bupa, Vitality and GeoBlue. Invoices include the full French practitioner details (RPPS 10005513642) and CPAM-compatible codes where applicable, accepted by most UK, EU and non-EU travel insurance policies for physiotherapy and osteopathy reimbursement abroad.
Do you treat ski injuries on the same day as the accident?
Yes. Acute ski injuries — including ankle sprains, knee sprains, back lock-ups, shoulder dislocations and skier's thumb — are common in Courchevel and are typically seen the same day or the morning after. A 4×4 vehicle ensures that treatment proceeds in any weather, including heavy snowfall.
Can the practitioner come to my hotel suite or my private chalet?
Yes. My French Physio is a fully mobile practice. All consultations take place at your chalet, suite, villa or in-house spa. A professional treatment table and full clinical equipment arrive with the practitioner. There is no in-house cabinet; the service comes to you.
Is discretion guaranteed for high-profile guests?
Yes. The practice is single-practitioner by design, so there is no risk of being seen in a public waiting room. No social media disclosure. No name disclosure to third parties. A confidentiality agreement is available on request, and many palaces' butler and concierge teams already work with the service under privacy protocols.
What hours and days are you available?
Seven days a week, from 08:00 to 22:00, throughout the winter ski season (December to late April). Emergency evening appointments can be arranged when clinically needed — for example a sudden back lock-up, an acute knee injury or infant bronchiolitis requiring respiratory physiotherapy.
Do you treat children with bronchiolitis at the chalet?
Yes. Respiratory physiotherapy for infants with bronchiolitis is a recognised specialty of the practice. Visits are arranged directly at the chalet or hotel, including evenings, to avoid moving an unwell child in altitude and cold.
How do I pay for a session?
Payment is taken at the end of each session. Accepted methods include credit and debit cards, cash (EUR), Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer, and cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum). A detailed invoice is emailed immediately for insurance reimbursement.
